Morroco's Football Culture

In a 4-day trip to Agadir, I planned to explore and document Morocco's football culture and the sense of family that exists within it. After asking a few locals where the best place would be to capture this culture, the answer was simple: 'Sunday mornings, on the beach.' So, this is where I spent hours documenting not only the game but also the football jerseys that bring friends, families, and strangers together in the name of the beautiful game. This project aims to document and comment on the relationship that local people in Morocco have with football, fueling dreams, relationships, and providing an escape. We see big clubs and big brands being represented throughout the images, providing people with a sense of belonging to a tribe, whilst they sport the shirt.
